Katsushika Hokusai, a ukiyoe artist of the late Edo period, continued to paint a wide range of ukiyoe until his death, including his masterpiece “Fugaku Sanjurokkei” (Thirty-six views of Mt. Fuji), flower-and-bird paintings, fantasy and fantasy scenes, shunga (spring paintings), and Hokusai manga.
This is a collection of 100 works by this genius ukiyoe artist who had fans all over the world.
A special appendix includes four postcards of Hokusai’s masterpieces.
